The House passed H.R. 1219, Supporting America’s Innovators Act, today. Congressman French Hill of Little Rock spoke in favor of the bill, citing the innovation happening in his community through the help of The Venture Center and the Innovation Hub.
"I'm proud to have the opportunity to work with every day The Venture Center in Little Rock and its FinTech accelerator program and the Innovation Hub in North Little Rock and its medical technology innovation," Rep. Hill said. "These high tech innovations give good paying job opportunities to people out in the heartland and not just on the east and west coasts."
Rep. Hill also said entrepreneurs need greater sources of angel capitol and that raising capitol in rural America is a challenge for many businesses.
