A technology enthusiast with experience in many areas of software and web development, he has a deep understanding of and interest in technology, open standards, OOP and other programming paradigms. Skilled at exploring new languages, tools, and frameworks, he was part of the Space Goats team that won JOLT not once, but twice.  The Venture Center is thrilled to have him as part of our JOLT Game Master Team!

Name:  Quasar Jarosz.

Yes, really. (But, you can call him Hambone.)

What’s your biggest coding pet peeve? Poor (or lack of) indentation; lack of consistency in style

What’s the coolest thing that you’ve ever worked on? JOLT, of course!

What is your spirit animal and/or patronus? Naked Mole Rat

Which TV or movie character do you most identify with? Samwell Tarly

What is your best piece of advice for a wannabe developer/coder/tech guru? The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried

Fun Fact! Quasar is my real name. I'm the first person in my extended family to attend college. I am in the top 0.5% (99.5th percentile) of typists in the world, by speed.
