About The Venture Center’s Pre-Accelerator
The Venture Center's Pre-Accelerator is a 12-week business bootcamp held in the spring and fall in which participants create a minimum viable product, gain customer validation and accelerate their path to viability.
Instructors of the program are serial entrepreneurs and industry experts with a wide variety of experience. In addition to the weekly seminar, participants receive guided support and supplementary mentoring and instruction covering targeted areas of business development.
Experts, investors and trainers help the startup founders hone their investor pitches. The Spring 2018 Pre-Accelerator was facilitated by Scott Shellabarger, a Venture Center mentor and a leader in innovation and IT who has worked for Acxiom and NovaSys Health and is currently the CEO of Csurgeries, a site for peer-reviewed online surgical videos.
