Lean Social Media Strategy Experiment

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I would like to suggest a crowdsourced method for learning what our audience is interested in. As we learn to improve our daily processes and absorb knowledge that keeps us up-to-speed on bleeding edge technology and entrepreneurial methodologies, let's share these learnings with our community through social media. This will provide an open communication channel to glean insights into member's needs, habits, and thoughts, plus provide a tremendous value in curating content that is relevant to them. Once we recognize consistent trends, we can dedicate more time creating content for high demand topics.

To kickstart this experiment, I would like each of you to send me at least 1 piece of content(article, video, story, tool, original posts, etc.. )  a day via email with the subject as "share". Then I will share them through Facebook, Twitter, Linked, and Google+ on a consistent schedule. I'm documenting this experiment using my lean startup kit and we can decide next week how often to review findings.

It is likely that we all trend toward relevant topics because of our current time dedicated to serving our audience and the fact that we are a startup ourselves (37 Signals Method). Let's not worry too much about what content is shared, this way we start broad and let our audience guide the refinement processes. The most important thing is that we become a brand that is synonymous with learning how to innovate and grow companies ridiculously well. To do that, I believe consistently experimenting to improve our own processes and sharing those experiences will get us there.
