The premise of Global Entrepreneur Week is that entrepreneurs can make the world a better place, not just from an economic standpoint, but from problem-solving, giving back and helping others standpoint, too.

Global Entrepreneur Week is 35,000 events taking place simultaneously in 125 countries every year. This week it falls during the week of November 18-24, 2013. Little Rock is participating with free events Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights during that week. That's right, free. (You will need to RSVP if you are planning to attend.)

What can you expect from the events that Little Rock is holding next week? Here are just a few of the opportunities:

  • Networking events.
  • Meeting mentors.
  • Learning about whether or not you have an interest or skill to join a startup.

"GEW is more than just an awareness campaign. It is a platform for connection and collaboration—engaging all players along the entrepreneurship spectrum in strengthening ecosystems around the world." It is truly exciting that Little Rock is participating as a global player in this event. We have a strong startup community in Arkansas and so many resources for entrepreneurs ready to get started with an idea. It would a shame to not participate in these events and just see who you meet, what you can learn and how you can take next steps to building a business.

In the poster below, check out the events that are happening each night of the week next week. We will be going more in depth with each event as it approaches.
