Describe the most exciting entrepreneurial minute in your journey so far.

When I think of exciting times, I don’t think I pin it down to a single minute. Instead, I’d rather look at the entire journey. This includes when I built one of the largest digital banks in Europe, generating over $25B in assets within 8 years. Even though we launched our digital bank right before the tech bubble burst of 2000 ‘and 9/11, by being agile and smart, we managed to survive and grow exponentially while launching innovative digital and FinTech products.

What entrepreneurial hacks have you developed to stay focused and productive in your day-to-day?

Being an early-bird and working late to organize for the next day is important, especially with my hectic daily schedule.

What systems have you set up in your business to help it grow?

Our approach is very organic, and we rely a lot on instinct nurtured from our years of experience.

What’s the best business idea you have that you will never use?

On the contrary, if it’s a “best business idea”, I will probably use it one day. As to what that idea is, I’ll keep that to myself, for now.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do? (hobbies, interests, etc.)

When you’ve launched your startup, you don’t have much time for hobbies unfortunately. Any free time I do get, I spend with my children – taking them to birthday parties and museums -New York Life. Some of my best-remembered past hobbies pre-marriage and kids -the old days:), include taking walks, reading about history, and getting together with old friends.
