The FinTech Administrative Lead enables the FinTech Accelerator programs by serving as a single point of contact for scheduling and logistics. This position will dedicate approximately 75% of their time to FinTech and the other 25% to other programs of The Venture Center.

FinTech programs are fast-paced and fluid, so the Administrative Lead should be highly adaptable to changing environments. Duties will vary throughout the year due to the program cycle from recruitment, through company selection and then execution of the 12-week Accelerator program on-site in Little Rock. The Administrative Lead will be a critical part of the small team that plans and executes this globally-competitive programming for financial technology startups.

During weeks the Accelerator is in session, a typical day involves group sessions between company CEOs and Venture Center Mentors, bank executives, and executives from the corporate sponsor that contribute to the success of the early-stage companies. The Administrative Lead would take charge of enabling these sessions by ordering and handling catering, room setup, booking reservations for lunches, dinners, etc... in addition to other logistics responsibilities. This position would require occasionally running errands, so reliable transportation is required. The Administrative Lead will also ensure the program calendar is up-to-date, all parties invited and details included.

During recruiting and selection periods (about 9 months of the calendar year), the Administrative Lead will assist with routine scheduling for prospective companies and executives, input of prospect company contact information to the customer management system, booking travel, ordering materials and equipment as required.

This position reports to The Managing Director. This position is full-time.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains the program group calendar in accordance with Master file & schedule

  • Coordinates with stakeholders to finalize visit schedule details

  • Orders catering, makes reservations, sets meeting space and class rooms

  • Restocks office supplies, drinks, food, etc

  • Disseminates routine internal communications

  • Follows up on communications as assigned

  • Process expenditure reports for accounting

  • Assists FinTech team in tracking document collection

  • Assists in scheduling of company interview sessions

  • Coordinates with the FinTech team to stay up-to-date on program changes

  • Coordinates with Interns (when on staff) to help execute logistics duties

  • Enters data into CRM in accordance with organizational standards


Minimum Qualifications

  • You are incredibly self-driven, organized and detail oriented

  • Outstanding written communications skills

  • A strong customer focus - this position will occasionally interface with senior executives and Fortune 500 clients. All team members must ensure a positive experience.

  • You can handle calendar management in a fast-paced and changing environment environment

  • Self driven but also a team player. Identify areas for improvement and take initiative!!


Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with and understanding of CRM tools

  • 2-5 years in fast-paced project or program

  • Prior experience as an executive assistant or similar role

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
