LITTLE ROCK, Ark., (Feb. 18, 2019)  – The Venture Center is launching a new mentorship program to serve the professional community of Central Arkansas. The goal of this program is to offer mentors and protégés a curated experience by accepting 20 protégés wishing to address unique objectives relative to their industry focus.

“For the past three years, our mentor’s passion for guiding talent is what has made our programs a success,” Wayne Miller, Executive Director said. “They have dedicated their time and invested their support in our community as professionals seek growth in their entrepreneurial pursuits. We can accomplish nothing without the collaboration of our most treasured community partners, which is why we are thrilled to announce our new Mentorship Program, offering a more meaningful engagement for our mentors and protégés.

20 mentors will be selected for our inaugural 2019 mentorship program, along with 20 protégés. After completing an orientation and attending a Mentor Match Day, mentors will be required to engage with their mentee in-person at least once per month, check-in with the Venture Center regarding progress once per month, attend quarterly meetings, and attend the annual celebratory awards ceremony.

The program will result in establishing a relevant base for ongoing networking and growth insights for the protégé’s career path.

We will be accepting applications for mentors and protégés for the 2019 program from February 2019 – March 8, 2019.
