The 2020 FIS Fintech Accelerator follows four highly successful programs produced by FIS and The Venture Center. This year’s Accelerator will be conducted entirely virtually and will include an additional six-week pre-accelerator, providing opportunities for greater collaboration and faster innovation for FIS customers.

1. What challenges do you see today that fintech solutions could address?
Merchant onboarding by banks is operationally intense, being able to offer a fully-digitized onboarding experience with integrated data-driven decisioning capabilities can greatly ease that process. Additionally, banks need the ability to offer a range of products and services off a single platform to enable better cross-selling and servicing. Silot addresses these needs.
2. What stands out about Silot and why was it chosen to be a part of the FIS Fintech Accelerator?
Silot.ai has a great founder who has built a strong team with a deep understanding of the financial services space and demonstrated sale-ability of the proposition to clients. Working with innovators who demonstrate the kind of leadership required to build a company like Silot is extremely rewarding because I have confidence in their ability to deliver.
3. How do you hope your involvement in the FIS Fintech Accelerator helps FIS’ clients?
I hope to help FIS enhance our payments processing capabilities, specifically the ones we offer to clients in the APAC region where there are increasing demands for digitization. I believe Silot can help, and through the Accelerator, I hope to foster deeper collaboration between Silot and FIS clients.
