Please share a little about your background, personally and/or professionally.
I have dedicated the last 17 years of my career to the field of substance abuse, working as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in outpatient and inpatient treatment facilities, helping individuals on their journey to recovery. I am a proud wife pursuing my doctoral degree in change leadership with a concentration in community leadership at the University of Central Arkansas. I am the author of the Made to Manifest series, which includes devotionals and journals available on Amazon. One of my favorite works, Going Through the Process, shares how God’s guidance led me to manifest my purpose during challenging times. Writing has become a powerful tool for me to inspire others, and I enjoy journaling, vision-boarding, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I’m an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Beta Pi Omega Chapter, and I am an ambassador for the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Please share more about your current position and place of work. How have you grown professionally/personally in this role?
Even though I work a nine-to-five job in operations for Behavioral Health Group, I am incredibly blessed to own and operate my own business, Made to Manifest. Through this journey, I have experienced tremendous personal and professional growth, particularly in building my confidence. This confidence has opened doors for me to walk into spaces I once thought were out of reach and to show up authentically and purposefully. Additionally, graduating from the Women Achieve program in 2024 has transformed my professional development. It has helped me grow significantly, and I am deeply grateful for every opportunity that has come my way.”
What drew you to being a mentor for an entrepreneurial group curated for non-men? How has being a woman or non-binary individual impacted your professional journey?
What drew me to becoming a mentor for an entrepreneur group curated for non-men is my passion for empowerment and giving back. Going through programs like Women Achieve at The Venture Center and the Women’s Leadership Academy in Conway has poured so much into me, shaping my confidence, leadership, and sense of purpose. These experiences instilled a desire in me to pour into others, particularly women, by helping them build their confidence, realize their potential, and exceed their expectations. As a woman, my journey has been deeply impacted by the drive to uplift and empower others. I believe in creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving greatness. Giving back and helping others succeed in their journeys is what fuels me and gives my life meaning.
What are three things you enjoy doing outside of work?

What is your go-to piece of advice for professionals, entrepreneurs, or anyone looking to you for guidance?
Trust God and Trust the Process.
What is a professional achievement that you are most proud of, and why are you proud of it?
I am most proud of returning to school last semester at the age of 42 and completing the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA—something I can’t recall ever accomplishing. Having struggled with imposter syndrome for most of my life, this milestone represents more than just academic success; it’s a testament to my resilience, determination, and growth. It’s a reminder that it’s never too late to push past self-doubt and achieve greatness.
