In my current role as Executive Director of Arkansas Community Action Agencies Association, Inc. I serve my state as an advocate for positive change impacting the most vulnerable populations across communities. Supporting the state’s local Community Action Agencies, advances our mission of expanding opportunities for social and economic mobility in Arkansas.

What drew you to being a mentor for an entrepreneurial group curated for non-men? How has being a woman or non-binary individual impacted your professional journey?

I look forward to pouring into other women changemakers. This opportunity gives me a platform to help another woman reach professional and personal goals as they fulfill lifelong dreams. As a woman leader, I know all too well this is not an easy feat. I’ve had to knock down a number of walls to arrive at this point in my life. If I can lessen the challenges faced by a new generation of women, I’m 100% on board!

What are three things you enjoy doing outside of work?

Hiking, dancing, singing.

What is your go-to piece of advice for professionals, entrepreneurs, or anyone looking to you for guidance?

Get in good trouble – Necessary trouble.

What is a professional achievement that you are most proud of, and why are you proud of it?

Speaking at my Clinton School graduation! I never thought I would have the opportunity to graduate due to so many challenges in my life at thst time, let alone be the student selected to address my graduating class.
