The Venture Center Announces Cohort for 2025 Veteran-Owned Small Business Accelerator

In partnership with Arkansas Small Business Administration, the accelerator program will provide entrepreneurial tools, mentorship and resources to five Northwest Arkansas, five Central Arkansas veterans

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Mar. 4, 2025) – Ten Arkansas-based small businesses, owned and operated by U.S. military veterans, are participating in the second annual cohort for the Veteran-Owned Small Business Accelerator (VOSB). 

This statewide initiative accelerates the growth of Arkansas businesses founded by U.S. military veterans and veteran spouses, providing them with tailored resources for business growth and success. With support from the Walton Family Foundation and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the program will support five Northwest Arkansas companies and five Central Arkansas companies.

Daniel Schutte, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at The Venture Center shared, “We’re excited to announce this group of veteran-owned businesses as part of our second accelerator cohort. With half of the companies based in Northwest Arkansas, this program highlights the accelerator’s commitment to a Statewide role in fostering veteran entrepreneurship. These veteran entrepreneurs exemplify the determination, ingenuity, and leadership that define those who have served our country.”

Northwest Arkansas Sheet Metal A commercial contractor, fabricating and installing HVAC ductwork systems, and industrial welding based in Northwest Arkansas.

NICE – A team of creatives collaborating to provide high quality, affordable photography and videography services.

Alpha EchoEnabling fast and smart decisions on real estate assets in all timelines; crisis response, property acquisition/improvement and multi-year management.

Weekender Management Full-service short-term rental investment and management company, maximizing returns for property owners while syndicating and managing high-performing rental investments to generate passive income for investors.

URBYNYTETransforms bike racks into secure, data-rich mobility hubs—providing convenient parking for riders while revealing critical insights on active transportation to help cities reduce emissions and optimize infrastructure.
