In its second year, the ACTIVE program will provide concentrated and personalized support to SEDI leaders of early-stage health ventures committed to making an impact

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Jan. 31, 2025) – Twenty health care and health tech companies from across Arkansas are participating in the second annual cohort for the Arkansas Collaborative for Technological and Innovative Venture Equality (ACTIVE) program. This initiative, which is a partnership between BioVentures LLC. and The Venture Center, aims to enhance health outcomes throughout Arkansas.

The ACTIVE program is dedicated to supporting socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDI) with innovative, early-stage healthcare and health technology ventures. This commitment to SEDI addresses underrepresentation and unrealized potential in the health tech sector. By focusing on SEDI entrepreneurs, ACTIVE promotes equitable innovation in the healthcare industry, driving economic growth, introducing diverse health tech solutions, and improving healthcare outcomes.

“The success of our first ACTIVE cohort demonstrated the transformative potential of equipping disadvantaged founders with the right training, resources and support to address pressing healthcare challenges in their communities,” said Dmitri Scott, program manager for ACTIVE. “We learned and grew alongside the first cohort, and we are proud to continue working with them as they push toward achieving remarkable milestones. This year, the enthusiasm and passion from our second cohort is inspiring. We can already see how this group has the potential to create meaningful change—not just in their communities but across Arkansas as a whole.”

The following companies are among the 2025 ACTIVE cohort:

Active Telecare

Crown Yours Rx

CPRNWA

Dynamic Baby
