Name: Brittiany Bir | Business/Profession: Owner, PostcardPassengers Travel Agency

Please share a little about your background, personally and/or professionally.

My background has always been in an aspect of a servant’s heart. I entered in the world of healthcare 16 years ago serving patients and hospitals. While working a corporate job, I fell in love with travel. This passion emerged into building a travel agency to continue my love for travel and also still be able to serve others.

Please share about your business, where it’s located, and what led you to starting it.

PostcardPassengers Travel Agency, based in Benton, AR, is a full service Travel Agency that works with clients all across the globe! My career in travel started out with a passion for travel. The travel bug itch is real! One trip, and I was hooked. I wanted to see and experience more. As the business grew, that passion evolved into serving others, tailoring each vacation to fit the needs of the traveler.

What goals do you hope to achieve for your business during your time in VCWoman Achieve?

During my time in VCWoman Achieve, I hope to achieve several key goals for PostcardPassengers:

1. Expand My Network: I look forward to connecting with like-minded business owners, building relationships that will lead to collaborations, partnerships, and growth opportunities.

2. Enhance My Skill Set: I aim to gain valuable insights into business growth strategies, marketing techniques, and leadership skills that will help me refine my approach to running PostcardPassengers and better serve my clients.

3. Drive Sustainable Growth: I want to implement actionable strategies to scale my business efficiently, increasing both my revenue and the quality of services offered, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience.

What drew you to being part of a mentorship group specifically curated for non-men? How has being a woman or non-binary individual impacted your journey as an entrepreneur?

I joined a mentorship group specifically for non-men because it provides a supportive space where I can connect with others who understand the unique challenges we face in entrepreneurship. As a woman, I’ve encountered both obstacles and strengths—like the need for resilience, balancing family and business, and overcoming biases. Being part of this group allows me to gain insights from others’ experiences, share strategies, and build a network that empowers me to grow my business and break through barriers.

What are three things you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, whether it’s cheering on my kids at their sports games or going on family adventures. I also love traveling, exploring new destinations, experiencing different cultures, and savoring local cuisines. Lastly, I enjoy snacking. My doctor probably hates it, but it’s my guilty pleasure.

What is your favorite part about being an entrepreneur?

Building Relationships. I love connecting with a diverse range of people, from clients to partners, creating a strong network of valuable relationships.
