The Venture Center and its sponsoring partners AEDC, Wright Lindsey Jennings, Arkansas Capital Corp, Venture Noire, and Soiree Women’s Symposium are dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs in all stages of their company grow. Woman Rise is a mentorship program dedicated to forming meaningful relationships that help the entire community of women flourish professionally.
In the Woman Rise mentorship program, women entrepreneurs who are looking for professional coaching with seasoned women executives/entrepreneurs will be thoughtfully matched with a mentor and spend the next 12 months growing together.
Registration for Woman Rise 2022 opens September 8, 2021.
Registration deadline is October 8, 2021.
The inaugural Woman Rise program takes place January 2022 – December 2022.
Throughout the year, Woman Rise will provide monthly opportunities for mentors and mentees to establish a long-lasting relationship. Check-ins, events and goals will facilitate progress and organic growth outside of the formal program.
To be considered for this program, please complete the application form for mentors and mentees. Twenty mentees and twenty mentors will be accepted into this 12-month inaugural program.
This program is for Arkansas residents only. Those selected will be notified in October 2021. Once selected, mentors will be invited to a Meet & Greet with mentees, as well as a two-hour training in November. The program will begin on January 5, 2022.
Mentors should meet with their mentee at least one hour a month, whether in-person or virtually. Additionally, this is a yearly program with the introduction of new mentees and mentors every year.
