Spark! is a small business pre-accelerator that puts the right people, opportunities, and access in place for local entrepreneurs in Arkansas to grow their venture to the next level.
Can you tell us a little about yourself and what motivated you to join Spark!?
I am the co-owner and head chef. I was motivated to join spark when my friend Samantha Stewart suggested the program to me. I feel it is a great fit as the VCWoman’s Achieve program is coming to an end and I still have so much more to learn!
What are your short-term and long-term career goals, and how do you hope this program will help you achieve them?
My short term goal is to learn how to better handle staff. And my long term goal is to open a food truck in several other counties.
What is the most valuable piece of business advice you’ve been given?
You cannot pour from an empty cup, so make sure to prioritize your mental health and self care.
What is a professional achievement that you are most proud of and why?
