The Venture Center Expands Corporate Innovation Offerings

Director of Strategic Partnerships Jacob Bouer to Lead Effort

July 22, 2020 – Little Rock, AR. – The Venture Center today announced the expansion of its corporate innovation offerings, along with a new team member spearheading the additional effort. Based in New York City, Jacob Bouer has been named The Venture Center’s Director of Strategic Partnerships. From the world’s financial capital, Bouer will cultivate new business opportunities with financial institutions and corporations looking to enhance their innovation strategies.

The Venture Center’s globally recognized accelerators are among the best in the world. After two successful accelerators, The Venture Center recently renewed a three-year commitment with the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and is currently executing the fifth fintech accelerator for FIS, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic fintech companies.

“I’m excited to join The Venture Center team and build upon the FIS Fintech and the ICBA ThinkTECH Accelerators’ success,” said Bouer. “Through our work with FIS customers and ICBA members, we already have one of the largest distribution channels for B2B fintechs. This will only expand as we grow our network of financial institution partners. As the financial landscape calls for constant collaboration between incumbent banks and technology companies, I’m proud to play a role in bridging that gap.

The Venture Center’s Executive Director, Wayne Miller, expressed his excitement about the increased need for innovation and The Venture Center team’s growth.

“We are excited to have Jacob join The Venture Center,” said Miller. “Jacob’s relationships and experience working in the fintech space will be immediately impactful as the call for corporate innovation climbs. We look forward to expanding The Venture Center’s offerings to meet the globally growing need.”

Before his work at The Venture Center, Bouer was a key team member at the Money20/20 conference and most recently led partnerships at Plug and Play Fintech, a corporate innovation platform with an ecosystem of over 60 financial institutions and over 20,000 startups globally.
