Welcome to our Spark! spotlight series, where we introduce you to the amazing entrepreneurs who are participating in our Spark! 2024 program with a quick Q&A! Spark! is a small business pre-accelerator that puts the right people, opportunities, and access in place for local entrepreneurs in Arkansas to grow their venture to the next level.
Can you tell us a little about yourself and what motivated you to join Spark!?
The sheer necessity to chase growth was my motivation to join Spark! The sheer eagerness to learn additional skills and apply them to my business is my discipline. To be able to strategize goals for my business is truly an honor.
What are your short-term and long-term career goals, and how do you hope this program will help you achieve them?
My long-term goal is having a functioning mobile retail store by 2025. The short-term goal is improving my business plans, research and overall brand strategy to maximize the success of my brand.
What is the most valuable piece of business advice you’ve been given?
When Lamborghini said, “we don’t do commercials because our target audience isn’t sitting around watching tv.”
What is a professional achievement that you are most proud of and why?
I was able to develop and refine my clothing designs with my desire to educate myself on art history from Japan.
