Name: Tamara Williams | Business/Profession: CEO & Executive Career & Business Coach, iPropel You
Please share a little about your background, personally and/or professionally.
I am an executive career coach, resume writer, and business consultant with a passion for helping professionals and entrepreneurs cultivate their brands, overcome challenges, and reach new heights. As the CEO of iPropel You, I’ve worked with over 7,000 professionals across 25+ countries, helping them transform their careers and businesses through strategic coaching and actionable plans. With over 20 years of experience in leadership, business development, and professional branding, I’ve built a reputation as a trusted mentor and advisor who empowers individuals to achieve their goals with clarity and confidence.
Please share more about your current position and place of work. How have you grown professionally/personally in this role?
As the founder and CEO of iPropel You, I lead a dynamic career and business coaching practice that focuses on helping corporate professionals and entrepreneurs refine their professional brands, develop executive presence, and unlock growth opportunities. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise in career strategy, leadership development, and business consulting. Personally, this role has strengthened my ability to connect with individuals across industries and cultures, enabling me to adapt and refine my coaching style to deliver measurable results for my clients. The experience of building and leading a successful coaching business has also deepened my ability to consult other business professionals on scaling and optimizing their own ventures.
What drew you to being a mentor for an entrepreneurial group curated for non-men? How has being a woman or non-binary individual impacted your professional journey?
I’ve been honored to serve as a mentor with Women Achieve for the past three years and have found the experience incredibly rewarding. Supporting non-men entrepreneurs aligns with my mission to empower individuals to navigate their unique challenges and leverage their strengths. As a woman in business, I’ve encountered and overcome challenges in leadership and professional growth. These experiences have fueled my passion for creating spaces where non-men professionals can thrive, learn, and build the confidence needed to excel. Mentoring through Women Achieve has allowed me to give back to a community of driven, visionary individuals while continuing to learn and grow myself.
What are three things you enjoy doing outside of work?
1. Launching and scaling iPropel B.O.S.S., an AI-powered Business Operations Success System designed to streamline operations for coaches, consultants, and small business owners.
2. Empowering professionals to create a Plan B by tapping into their entrepreneurial drive and leveraging their expertise to build sustainable businesses.
3. Cherishing quality time with the love of my life, my children, and my grandchildren, creating lasting memories and sharing in their joys and milestones.
What is your go-to piece of advice for professionals, entrepreneurs, or anyone looking to you for guidance?
“Build your B.O.S.S.—your Business Operations Success System.” Whether you’re climbing the corporate ladder or venturing into entrepreneurship, success lies in creating systems that streamline your operations, amplify your strengths, and free you to focus on what you love. A well-designed system not only keeps you organized and efficient but also creates the foundation for scalability and long-term success. Invest in tools and strategies that allow you to work smarter, not harder, and empower yourself to achieve sustainable growth.
What is a professional achievement that you are most proud of, and why are you proud of it?
One of my proudest achievements is founding and growing iPropel You into a globally recognized coaching practice that has empowered thousands of professionals to elevate their careers. Seeing my clients break through barriers, achieve promotions, launch businesses, and transform their professional brands is immensely fulfilling. I’m proud because it represents not only the impact of my work but also my commitment to fostering meaningful change and growth in others. It is a testament to the power of strategic coaching and the importance of investing in people’s potential.
