Giving your team the power to do everything related to their function is critical. As a hands-on person who likes to be involved this is very hard to do but critical for success/growth.

Describe the most exciting minute of your entrepreneurial journey so far.

Every time we get a wow or whoa when showing something we built. This is what excites me the most.

What entrepreneurial hacks have you developed to stay focused and productive in your day-to-day?

I don’t do it every day, but making a to-do list for the day at the start and trying my best to get that list done before I go home…. That can be a lot harder than it sounds.

What systems have you set up in your business to help it grow?

Specializing teams into: operations,  support, sales, development, and install and giving them the power to do everything related to their function. As a hands on person who likes to be involved this is very hard to do, but critical for success/growth.

What’s the best business idea you have that you will never use?

I really want to build robots and want to make a robot to clean up dog feces in my yard as I hate that job, but I got stuck in the banking world and do not see myself ever leaving it.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do?

I play games with my kids, such as Minecraft and Overwatch and love electronics, anything where I can create something. Our next project at home after the ICBA is me and my 4 girls are going to get into 3D printing. I told them that we cannot order the printer until after the ICBA Think Tech Program.. So they can’t wait until this program is over J
