The Venture Center’s Annual Pitch ‘N Pint

Whether you’re dreaming up a new concept or growing an early-stage business (less than two years old), this Shark Tank-style pitch competition is your shot at winning up to $550 and connecting with people who can take you to the next level. You’ll have just 60 seconds to wow a panel of judges and an excited crowd of startup enthusiasts and potential investors. It’s fast, fun, and could be your big break!

How is your pitch judged?

Pitch ‘N Pint will be judged based on these main criteria: information about the problem, value proposition, target market, and memorability. We want to see that you understand the problem you’re addressing and can clearly define it, and how your product solves this problem in a unique way, we want to know your target audience and how you plan to reach them. And most important, we want to be impressed and remember your pitch! This could be through creativity, props, product demonstration, or your enthusiasm! We can’t wait to see what you’ve got!
