In honor of Black History Month, we want to highlight one of our inspiring entrepreneurs who has been making history in Arkansas with their determination to scale their businesses. Since a very young age, Daron has been tech-minded. After one of his teachers encouraged his pursuit of a career in technology, he found himself years later as a founder of a successful IT business based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Hear more about Daron’s vision, how he first connected with The Venture Center, and most importantly, his encouraging words to anyone interested in tech entrepreneurship, especially here in central Arkansas.
“I just want to give people something different to see. I’m a big visionary and I’ve realized that people become what they want to become based on what they see and so I think it’s time for Little Rock to step it up – to showcase the power we have here in this city. I would say to the young 10-year-old me: Be you. Be authentically you. Be who you are and don’t allow people to put labels on you.”
