“It is our role to help the companies in the Venture Center cohorts tell a clear and compelling story to the market that will speed traction and adoption,” says John Farkas, founder and chief executive officer for Golden Spiral. “It’s a process that really energizes us, and we’re honored to have the Venture Center bring us on board to help.”
Golden Spiral founder John Farkas leads a marketing session at the ICBA-backed Venture Center fintech accelerator.
Golden Spiral provides hands-on coaching to the 10 companies selected for two 12-week accelerators, which are designed to boost the growth of early-stage companies and help them validate their technology. The agency recently completed the Independent Community Bankers Association (ICBA) ThinkTech accelerator in February and will return to Little Rock this June for the FIS Fintech Accelerator.
“The mid-market financial ecosystem in our country is in desperate need of of innovation. FIS and the ICBA know that need first hand,” continued Farkas. “I am impressed with their commitment to accelerate change. Their partnership with the Venture Center and their investment in these exciting companies is the right thing at the right time.”
Each accelerator brings in mentors from a variety of areas, such as product development, pricing, regulatory and compliance issues, marketing, and funding. The comprehensive curriculum aids in strategically addressing go-to-market, business and finance challenges.
