We are so excited to introduce you to an ongoing series where we celebrate the success and achievements of the amazing members of Woman Achieve. Meet Samantha Stewart one of our mentees!

The Venture Center: What major changes has your company experienced throughout this year-long program?

Samantha Stewart:

When I started this program we had just signed a lease to move out of a shared commercial kitchen space to our own Brick and Mortar. In September we officially moved in and Reopened with a space of our own and a dining room for customers to be able to sit and Eat.

What value has the mentorship program brought to you both personally and professionally?

This program was right on time. I was transitioning from working corporate America and in the beginning there was so many “unknowns” with my life. It was a very DARK time. Having the space to connect with other entrepreneurs going through similar BIG transitions really helped me to level-set with myself in all the goals I was trying to accomplish. My mentor was with me, every step of the way and helped me to build back my confidence within this new environment.

What’s your favorite piece of advice that you received while in this program?

Stay ready! You will have your name and Business mentioned in spaces you may not be a part of just yet. So always be prepared for the opportunity to shine.

What advice would you give to those interested in applying for this program?

This program is very unique in that it’s not all about business. Entrepreneurship connects you with other people but the lessons you learn and the people you meet are LIFE changing.
